Applying for a Place

Main Round and In-Year Applications

If you are thinking of applying for a place at our school, please refer to the Admissions Policy for the relevant year of entry and the school's Supplementary Information Form for the relevant year.  The Admissions Policy and Supplementary Information Form can be found in our policies section of the website under the 'Key Information' tab.

You should also complete an application for admission via www.hants.gov.uk/admissions.

If you wish to apply for a place under one of the 'Christian commitment' categories listed in our policy, please ensure that you complete a Supplementary Information Form and return this to the school as well as applying for a place online.

Please note that we only accept the school's Supplementary Information Form which is specific to our school.

The closing date for main round applications is midnight on 15 January.

There are no deadline dates for in-year applications. However, in-year applications made for entry in the following September will only be considered 6 weeks before the start of the summer holiday in line with Hampshire County Council procedures.

Receiving a Decision

For main round applications, parents will be notified of the outcome of their application on national offer day (16 April).

For in-year  applications, parents will be notified of the outcome by the school within 15 school days of their application being received.

NB As in-year applications made for entry in the following September will only be considered 6 weeks before the start of the summer holiday in line with Hampshire County Council procedures, notification of the outcome will be made within this period.

Making an Admissions Appeal

If you are unsuccessful in gaining a place for your child at this school we (or Hampshire County Council for main round admissions) will inform you in writing. We will give reasons and inform you of your right to an independent appeal against the decision.

The timetable for lodging and hearing an appeal can be found in the policies section of our website under the 'Key Information' tab.
