Outcomes
Children at St Alban’s make excellent progress during their time with us to achieve standards that over many years have been consistently above national averages. This is as a result of a strong focus on a broad, inspiring and motivating curriculum; excellent teaching; high expectations that every child can succeed and achieve when given the right support; a whole school focus on developing resilient, confident and skilled learners; a calm, caring and respectful learning environment, based on Christian values, in which children can flourish and learn. As a result, outcomes were again well above national averages in 2019. National tests were cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the significant disruption to schools that was caused by the covid pandemic.
