Safeguarding for Children
Safeguarding (sometimes known as Child Protection) is all about keeping children safe from any type of harm.
Who can I speak to at school?
Children at St Alban's can speak to any member of school staff if they are concerned about themselves or someone else, but Mrs Goldsworthy is our Designated Safeguarding Lead. Mrs James, Mrs Clarke, Miss Brooks and Mrs Welton are Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads.
A 'Designated Safeguarding Lead' or DSL, is someone who is responsible for safeguarding pupils, parents, and staff at school.
