    Learning Support Assistant

    St Alban’s CE Aided Primary School is a one form entry school with a strong ethos based on Christian values where every child is ‘inspired to make a difference in God’s world with excellence and love’.  

    We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and caring Learning Support Assistant to work within our team under the guidance of the class teachers and the Inclusion Lead. 

    The successful candidate will:

    • Be committed to supporting individual children's social, moral, emotional and academic well-being
    • Form strong relationships with children, staff, parents and governors
    • Be patient, cheerful and understanding
    • Have good interpersonal skills 
    • Suggest innovative ideas and strategies to adapt to daily challenges 
    • Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team, demonstrating positivity and adaptability
    • Be calm and consistent under pressure, managing pupils with a clam, positive and kind approach
    • Have a good basic education (English and Maths GCSE grade C or above is desirable)
    • Support and promote the Christian ethos of the school and demonstrate conduct in keeping with this, including high standards of personal conduct and professionalism
    • Be able to model high standards of grammar (spoken and written)

    It is imperative for our whole school relational approach that our Learning Support Assistants undertake lunch duty for 30 minutes each day.
