Admissions

Main Round and In-Year Applications

If you are thinking of applying for a place at our school, please refer to the Admissions Policy for the relevant year of entry, and the school's Supplementary Information Form for the relevant year. Our Admissions Policies and our Supplementary Information Form can be found here.

To apply for a place at our school you should complete an application for admission via www.hants.gov.uk/admissions.

If you wish to apply for a place under one of the 'Christian Commitment' categories listed in our policy, please ensure that you complete a Supplementary Information Form and return this to the school as well as applying for a place online. Please note that we only accept the Supplementary Information Form that is specific to our school. Our SIF can be found in the 'Policies' section of our website.

The closing date for main round applications is midnight on 15 January.

There are no deadline dates for in-year applications. However, in-year applications made for entry in the following September will only be considered 6 weeks before the start of the summer holiday in line with Hampshire County Council procedures.

Receiving a Decision

For main round applications, parents will be notified of the outcome of their application on national offer day (16 April).

For in-year applications, parents will be notified of the outcome by the school within 15 school days of their application being received.

As in-year applications made for entry in the following September will only be considered 6 weeks before the start of the summer holiday in line with Hampshire County Council procedures, notification of the outcome will be made within this period.

Making an Admissions Appeal

If you are unsuccessful in gaining a place for your child at this school we (or Hampshire County Council for main round admissions) will inform you in writing. We will give reasons and inform you of your right to an independent appeal against the decision.

The Appeals Timetable for main round admissions can be found on our 'Policies' section here.

Visiting Our School

In-Year Admissions

If you are looking to apply to our school for an in-year place, please contact the office to book a tour. Tours for in-year admissions can take place throughout the year, but we may have limited availability during busier periods. For an in-year admission, you will be offered a tour with either our Headteacher, Mrs Goldsworthy, or our Admin Officer, Miss Bond-Lynch.

Main Round (Year R) Admissions

We try to publish our dates for Open Mornings and Open Evenings in the Summer Term for the following year of admission. Open events normally take place at the end of October but this may change depending on other school events.

During an open event, our very experienced Year 6 pupils will give you an all round tour of our school and there will be a chance to speak with our Headteacher and SENCo afterwards.

For more information about this process, please visit the 'Year R Intake' section of our website, which can be found here.
