Curriculum Learning Quests and Home Learning

Learning Quest Map

Our children are learning, not working, and they are going on a quest to find out more! They will share their learning with you at the end of each half term in a Learning Quest Celebration. These maps replace the old-style curriculum letters, and these show our learning in each of the discrete curriculum areas and how they are interconnected to help your child see more of a purpose to their learning and to support them in making better connections in their learning: learning more and remembering more! Each half term, their quests will change, and you will receive a new Learning Quest Map. Please keep them safe. They are to help you know what your child is learning in school.

Home Learning Tasks

Our children will be completing Home Learning, not Homework. There are the usual spellings, maths and reading tasks to complete daily and weekly. Every week your child reads five times, they will be given a raffle ticket. At our final Celebration Worship of each half term, we will draw the raffle, and the winner will receive a new book! The more times your child reads 5x a week, the better their chance of being the proud owner of a new, exciting adventure in the form of a book!
